Ahhhh, the Bleep Machine - such a wonderful invention, although heaven help you if you broadcast to a lip-reader! Towards the tail-end of the Christmas run-up, two adverts appeared with a similar theme. First up is Oral B, with what we’re going to call a “traditional” sweary advert.

And then BT Sport decided to combine sweary football chants with sweet Victorian carol singers - fantastic!

The Longest Ever Christmas Advert?

2014 continued the previous year’s predilection for extra-long adverts - and a few of them appear in our 12 Ads Of Christmas 2014 feature - but it was Burberry who broke all records this year with their sweet four-minute music video. It was given extra publicity due to David Beckham’s son Romeo being given a starring role.

Not The True Meaning Of Christmas, But...

We know that Christmas is about the giving and not the receiving, but Mulberry absolutely nailed the competitive gift-giving that goes on in some families!

So Long, Christmas 2014...
